Creating an Efficient Web Presence

OpenHub and Newburgh Free Library are inviting you for a series of interactive workshops with 3 classes offered during this Fall:
- Website Objectives and Planning your online presence: customer development, segmentation and profiling. 9/28
- E-blasts and customer relationship platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contacts, InfusionSoft, etc) 10/19
- Basic technology foundations you need for your business website. Hosting, domain name, CPanel, HTML, semantic web, Google Sites 11/23

These 3 classes will be offered during Spring:

Intro to Python

OpenHub and Newburgh Free Library are inviting you for two introductory classes on Python, 10/5/2021 and another one during Spring 2021

  1. Let's make fun with Python
  2. Automate the boring stuff with Python

Two introductory workshops, 1 hour each

This is practical programming for total beginners!

First we will maje sime art, games and fun.

Second we will learn more advanced automation stuff.

Tapping into Dark Data

Dark data as the information assets organizations collect, process and store during regular business activities, but generally fail to use for other purposes

GIS Applications for Social Good

A geographic information system (GIS) is a computer system for capturing, storing, checking, and displaying data related to positions on Earth's surface. By relating seemingly unrelated data, GIS can help individuals and organizations better understand spatial patterns and relationships.

Design beautiful Apps: FREE Flutter Workshop - Coding Roulette Edition

Who says development isn’t collaborative? Who says coding can’t be fun?

Come and code along with us in this unique, shared development experience in which we’ll learn how to build UI Layouts effectively using Flutter while having some coding fun along the way.

Roman Jaquez, Flutter Developer, GDG Lawrence Lead Organizer and GDG Mentor for the Northeast will be leading this highly interactive session where he’ll share tips and tricks of Flutter UI development with guided, self-paced codelabs, custom-made for this event.
