Hi Everyone,

We have been supporting and participating in a local community called Hudson Valley Tech. We are in the process of reinvigorating this community with some online and physical events coming up over the next few months. To this end let's devote this Coding Club session to brainstorm and put together a full set of ideas to forward this community.
Prior to the pandemic we had been meeting in person as a very local HVTech (Hudson Valley, NY). Our online efforts were not as successful and quickly ceased. We now need to start again from the ground up. We have learned how beneficial it is to find and serve similar-minded people that are remote and location agnostic.
With all due respect to the hyper-local community HVTech once was, #HudsonValleyCanCode and our GDG Hudson chapter are moving forward to fully take advantage of our new reality and welcome old and new developers and those who are newly entering the tech field. We'd like to brainstorm what is needed.
Let's work together to reinvigorate HVTech to, once again, be a great resource for our extended community.

As usual, you can expect a lot of networking opportunities as well as collaboration. Be prepared to introduce yourself and connect with similar minded people. We encourage you to network and create the meaningful connections.

Keep learning attitude: In such disruptive industry like tech we have to continue learning to get up to speed with the industry speed. Share with us what are your learning objectives, and how we can assist you with co-learning activities.
