Newburgh Girls Code Club (NGCC) is a leadership development after-school program focused on educating youth on coding and the career opportunities that come with STEAM learning, based on the Girls Who Code curriculum. Together, we are using Computer Science to change the world: We build a diverse sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, explore simple online coding tutorials, identify issues that matter to us in our community and design real solutions to address them through code.
We’re very excited to announce the first and the only Data Analytics boot camp in the Hudson Valley - all online!

Data is everywhere, but it is not beneficial unless insight can be obtained from it.
In this short workshop, a demonstration of how to use Python to perform a simple spending analysis will provide attendees a glimpse of why data analytics is essential. The process of importing libraries and the data to the cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis of the data will be shown.
Lastly, the pros and cons of using different visualizations to gain solid insight into the history and trends behind the data will be discussed.
