Once WordPress is installed, you’ll have complete control over every aspect of your website. You can install custom themes and plugins to add new features to your site, or even modify the underlying CSS and PHP files to create a completely custom site.

ABC series: Intro to WordPress: Workshop A

Introduction to the WordPress Content Management Systems (CMS).

A CMS is a web application designed to make it easy for non-technical users to add, edit and manage a website, to include memberships and even e-commerce transactions. We will explore how to use a free version of WordPress hosted at WordPress.com, that enables you build a simple blog or website in just a couple of minutes. You will learn what is the difference between hosted and managed version of WordPress (downloaded from WordPress.org and installed at your own hosting).
