If you want the software you build to provide a great customer experience, you have to understand what customers need – and this changes according to where they are in their customer journey. By learning the stages of the customer journey, realizing why they matter, and understanding how to map them, you’ll have the insights to turn everyday software into delightful and meaningful solutions.
This is an introduction to web development for potential future web programmers. It could have been called “Internet Programming 101.” It is a first programming course, introducing the core Internet browser technologies HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Careers in Technology is the part of Newburgh Library's Career Smart Series. Dr. Yulia Ovchinnikova, PHD, Business Development Professional, Tech Entrepreneur and Strategist and the president of Open Hub will present on the varied career opportunities in technology, and entry-level jobs for different levels of education and different specializations.
