Tech Academy Poughkeepsie - Info Session

The Tech Academy Info Session on October 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM will provide an overview of the upcoming Tech Foundations courses. Attendees will learn about the program structure, course content, and how the classes can help them build essential digital skills such as computer basics, software usage, and more. The session will also cover registration details, answer any questions, and provide guidance on how participants can prepare for the courses starting on November 5, 2024.

Digital Navigators - Info Session

Digital Navigators are trained, trusted guides who help with various technology needs. Navigators work in libraries, churches, family health centers, and other community organizations. They assist anyone needing a device, secure free or low-cost internet service, and much more.

OpenHub just signed an agreement with Ramapo Catskills Library System to hire Digital Navigators. As such, OpenHub is recruiting individuals with basic tech skills, no age limitations.

Build With AI, Fine Tuning Gemini workshop

During this session, we will explore Gemini in greater detail. We will move beyond the fundamentals of prompting and focus on how to optimize Gemini for specific, tailored purposes. By delving into the nuances of the platform, we can unlock its full potential and achieve even greater results.

G-Suite Automation

Automate and trigger events with Google Office suite.
Lev Tsenovoy will give a demonstration on Google Scripts and share a few use cases where the automation can really help you save time and efforts, for example creating an auto-responses to recruiters and keep track of job applications and communication.

Come prepared: make sure you have your GMail account ready!
Some experience with JS (java script) is highly recommended - Lev will show how to apply it to G-Suite applications.
