Coding Club meets first Mondays of the month
Open Hub runs Coding Club in Newburgh as volunteer-based activity. Local techies and web pros meet once a month to discuss specific Digital Technology topics, learn together, share experience and new tools and frameworks learned, working together on projects. If you have a tech question or interested to build a website, you can come and meet local techies, get hands holding and support in your Coding journey. It is a best place to meet local developers and coders. Total novice who is interested to learn Coding and Web Development are welcome. We are working together as community to help each other to learn and grow. Coding Club meets once a month to work on your projects and answer your questions. It is also the opportunity in co-Learning and sharing with others.
This Monday April 1st we will have Info security topic presented by Joe Cupano. It will be an introductory single one-hour session to gauge interest and breadth depth applicable to the community since it is more front-end developers than back-end infrastructure. From there we can see what breadth/depth of a cybersecurity workshop that should evolve from it.
There is nothing special needed to attend a Coding Club meetings. The meetings are open for a public, so if people are interested to know more about Coding, we will be happy to help.
What we usually do:
• 10 Minutes for Everyone to introduce themselves to the group. We want to know who you are, what you do, language or technology focus, and what you're looking to get out of this group in the future!
• Then we will dive into talks which will range from 15-45 minutes with time for questions at the end. This time we will have Info security topic presented by Joe Cupano.

Laptops to work. Questions to ask. Projects to collaborate. Skills and ideas to share. Business cards to exchange.
• Important to know: Coding Club is a volunteer-based activity. We are looking forward to meet local techies and web pros as well as total novice who is interested to start this Coding/WebDev journey. We will work together as community to help each other to learn and grow.
