AI Literacy & Workforce Upskilling

ETPL-eligible Tech Foundations curriculum (Digital Basics → Fluency → Efficiency) with integrated AI literacy and workplace AI tools training. Currently active at the Dutchess One Stop Career Center under a WIOA-aligned contract. Assessment-driven, tiered delivery — participants enter at their skill level and progress to certification.

Community AI Adoption — Small Biz & Nonprofits

Community AI Collaboration Studio pairs trained learners with local small businesses and nonprofits to build working AI prototypes — chatbots, dashboards, automated workflows — in structured sprint sessions. This is applied AI adoption at the community level, not theory.

Youth AI Pipeline (K–12)

Girls Who Code / Newburgh Girls Code Club (running since 2019, 10 semesters + 4 camps), BuildLab afterschool STEM, competitive robotics (FLL/FTC), and the annual Digital Rally Youth Hackathon at Locust Grove — a civic tech hackathon for Hudson Valley high schoolers running since 2019.

Workforce Staff AI Training

Staff Training series (ST1–ST3) trains workforce development professionals in AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot — for case management, reporting, and program delivery. Directly applicable to Hub coordination staff and DOL-affiliated partners.

Civic Tech Events & Government AI Adoption

Annual HVTechFest series — Open Data Hackathons, DevFests, civic tech competitions — connects government agencies with developer teams to build solutions around real public data and civic challenges. Running since 2019 across Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, and Sullivan Counties.
