March StartupHV - at Kingston

StartupHV is focused on early-stage startups - from idea to launch & beyond.

1) Join us for a presentation by Hélène Lesterlin - Co-Founder + Managing Director of CO. ( - a shared work space and collaborative environment opening in Rhinebeck. CO. is both a startup and a place for startups to thrive. Hélène will talk about the creation of CO., their business model, and the future of the space and beyond.

2) John Paavo Tengström, the founder of Taganize will talk about their prototype for mobile browsers, and is seeking feedback from our group! Taganize connects physical and virtual objects to the Internet giving users total control and accessibility over the 'things' they share.
Taganized objects are represented on connecting devices as 'Centisites' which render meaningful content, reward mobile moment engagement and strengthen the performance bond.
Centisites possess an intriguing and engaging appeal that session duration is measured in minutes not seconds!

3) A networking exercise - Business Bingo! - hosted by Sean Jones - to help people get to know each other!

As always, we also look forward to hearing any startup-related announcements & requests to present at a future StartupHV.

Location: We are at REDSTART COFFEE ( on the Strand in Kingston! It's a beautiful space, and there will be a barista on hand, and snacks available (for purchase).

Workshop opportunities:

If your startup is struggling to have a clear business-model, or you want to clarify and improve it, you can apply for a hot-seat at a future StartupHV meetup. We implement a crowd-sourcing approach to your business-model, using the Business Model Canvas (BMC), Value Proposition Canvas, SWOT analysis, Scenario Planning or other business tools. Please contact the organizers if you have any questions, suggestions, or you want to apply for a hot-seat!
