Data Driven 102: Decision Making for Small Businesses

Data-Driven 102: Decision Making for Small Businesses

Understanding business analytics is an essential skill for the small business owner or manager. Non-for-profits also need to create transparent, measurable dashboards and set of metrics that could be used for data driven reporting and decision making.

During our previous workshop we introduced a data Driven framework, and reviewed a use case for a local small bakery.

This time Cynthia Marcello will facilitate a framework implementation for a specific use case, inviting Newburgh Urban Farm and Food Initiative (NUFFI) leaders to learn and set up their data driven culture.

We will interview a group of leaders of NUFFI, a local non-for-profit working with food insecurity. Board members will be guided through the framework, to define the data sources the organization has or might have.

We will be setting up the process of asking right questions and defining priorities.

OpenHub and Newburgh Free Library are this workshop sponsors, so you can attend it for free.
