Curating Information Architecture skills doesn’t happen overnight, it takes practice. Once you understand the systems to organize, label, navigate, and model environments that exceed customer and business expectations, it helps to deepen your understanding by analyzing real-life applications, and then extending your practice through in-depth immersive practice. In this course, we’ll continue our practice of using IA Systems, Components, and Models to frame our websites, applications, and environments to be easy to use and meet customer intentions
This course covers the next level of Information Architecture, including analyzing IA business case studies, extending the practice of IA visualization and modeling, learning about IA and its place in emerging technologies, and understanding how to package IA outcomes for others.

- Week 1 - Analyzing IA in Case Studies in Business
- Week 2 - Deepening practice of Organizational, Labeling, and navigation systems
- Week 3 - Taking Modeling and Communicating Information Architecture to the next level
- Week 4 - Understanding Information Architecture for Emerging Technologies
- Week 5 - Presenting Information Architecture Outcomes
This course is best for business owners and web/software professionals who want to create websites, applications, or information environments in which people can find and use information more easily. This leads to more human engagements, higher conversion rates, and lower overall costs.
This is a five-workshop series, three hours each.
Completing “Introduction to Information Architecture - IA 101” and “Visualizing Information Architecture - IA 102” is required for this course.
