Data-Driven 102: Decision Making for Small Businesses

Understanding business analytics is an essential skill for the small business owner. In this hands-on workshop, a variety of business analytics concepts and related techniques are demonstrated using a common spreadsheet application. Attendees are shown how to conduct a cash flow and spend analysis, project evaluation analysis, customer segmentation analysis, and a customer and product profitability analysis. A hypothetical case study will be used for demonstration purposes and each attendee will be provided spreadsheet template. 

Attendees will be able to:
1. Calculate cash flow and spend analysis.
2. Profile customers to maximize marketing efforts.
3. Calculate customer and product profitability.
4. Evaluate projects to determine investment worthiness.
