This two days course opens data analytics series, It will focus on building and expanding on a real-world business case. Using a step-by-step approach, the data science workflow will be demonstrated as applied to business analytics, reporting, and visualization. Individuals seeking to upskill and add a solid R programming and data analytic skill set to their resume are highly encouraged to attend the full course series. Course resources and data sets are provided for all courses. This introductory level course will introduce students to the R Studio IDE and the data analysis workflow. Students learn how to create and manage the project, customize global IDE settings, install packages, and methods used to import data in varying formats into the project file system. Using a transactional data set, the relationships between data tables will be emphasized as a foundation for pre-processing and transforming the data into a clean format for analysis. Data wrangling, visualization, modeling, and clustering will be introduced. No previous experience in R required.
